Silver Canopy Wire Tree

This tree sculpture has been wound of two different gauges of silver plated copper wire, the ends of the branches have been hammered flat to simulate leaves which have been painted with two different tones of green acrylic paint.

The tree is “growing” out of water, simulated by clear acrylic resin which affords a good view of the intricate root growth and the whole sculpture is mounted in a hand turned wooden base.
